Cobia 12 upgrades?

I just got a cobia 12 any recommendations on components that should be upgraded to make it lighter and just better bike

The best thing you could add to the bike is yourself...just go ride it and worry about upgrading as stuff breaks or wears out.

Have a good helmet, comfortable shoes (for clipless or flats) and decent shorts and shirt (or jersey) so you're comfortable riding and go out and ride. I like having a nice set of gloves also but not everyone likes riding with gloves. And don't forget eye protection either.

Get yourself comfortable riding first, the upgrades will come as stuff wears out/breaks.

^^Excellent advice - get all the "other stuff" that will make riding more enjoyable. Be sure you've got a flat repair kit. Good shorts are money extremely well spent. All that sorta stuff.
