In madds defense... Bonsai, you went a bit overboard on your thoughts about the Geaux tires..

Just my opinoin.

You guys should "hug it out"..

^^^ What the heck ever dude....."Just my opinion as well....hahahaha!!!"

They are terrible tires, ain't nothing overboard about that...I said my working & riding opinion (thoughts) of them, speaking for our LBS's as well, and I have that right to my own personal opinion/feedback on them as well as YOU & Madd, but there ain't NO need for hate from either one of you over a damned opinion/feedback.

Like I previously said, I am out of here, as I don't have time for ego trips and hate....Adi-freaking-os!!

Don't get mad and take your ball home chili! You might think they're horrible tires for you and your riding conditions and style (freeride in FL), but just saying "they are horrible tires" is a blanket statement implying that they'll suck for everyone, everywhere, for every riding style. That's what riles people up.

Someone riding XC in CO is obviously going to want and need very different things out of a tire than a freerider in FL.

I would like to put a lower profile tire on the rear but i doubt many bike shops are carrying much in the way of 650b yet

Bonsai, the only one in here spewing hate and ego is you. The question asks "what tires you running". People post what they are running...you took it upon yourself to crap all over the Geaux tires after someone posted that that's what THEY are running.... Madd observed that you have done this before. I think he was just trying to politely let you know that your opinions are not really very good based in his experience with said products.

No hate.

Get over yourself.

The post is gone now but chilipepper was quick to express your opinions about my Race Face Evolve XC crankset when I got it several years ago. Yet I have had zero issues with it... :D

After a brutal landing a week ago which burped my rear tire causing it to warp, I'm now running a Maxxis Ikon 29x2.2. It was only 20 bucks at Performance during their Memorial Day sale so I couldn't resist! So far, it feels very similar if not the same as the Fast Trak. I dig it!
