Any one use a moto full-face?

I'm just curious since I don't think I should pass up a deal today... my buddy who owns the motocross shop in town is closing down and the helmets are going fast. He's got a Vega Viper moto helmet on super clearance that fits me perfectly (and it matches my bike too hahaha) I've tried on a few mtb full-face helmets and this is exactly as light and yet fits better. It's something I've been considering for a while now. Just wondered some opinions from more experienced riders.

Usually moto helmets are heavier but if You say it's same lite as MTB full-face and price is sweet and You like it, what are You waiting for? Go grab that deal and have fun on the trails :)

I fly with a FF Fly Kinetic Helmet from Fly racing, and it is moto grade (D.O.T, ECE, and AS approved - Meets or exceeds D.O.T. helmet standards in the USA). It is a slight bit heavier than my other FF, but it far exceeds my other one in comfort, safety, protection, & looks sick...

Fly advertising them under BMX due to being lighter than the Kinetic helmets under motocross. I say fly with it if you are comfortable with it, at least your noggin will be much safer anyways, especially if you are going to be doing any type of FR.

Well FB, by looking at his avatar, he might just be rocking on an BMX or FR bike, thus the consideration of a FF, not a MTB helmet or even skid lid. So thus no climbing in general. Just saying!

I have a few FF helmets...No DOT ones as they feel to heavy for me...But if it fits well and a good price and you intend on doing some DH, FR or DJ...Why not.
No applause please!! Just Money..Thank you..

thanks for the opinions! i got the vega viper craze... was hoping for the volt but it was already too late. i think the helmet weight might also have to do with the size since i can get youth size but no matter, it fits really well and vision is excellent in it... now i can't wait to hit the mountain!
