A Weekend Full of Surprises!

Postby pedalhound » Tue Apr 09, 2013 10:58 am

I turned 40 last weekend and my girlfriend set up a surprise trip with awesome friends and family to one of my favourite places on the island, what came next was just as much of a surprise!

Happy belated birthday! Looks like you had an awesome time. Also... Super awesome bikes! I can only imagine what it would be like to ride something like that

Man, I thought it was going to end with you getting a new bike for your b-day. :)
Still sounds like a kickass birthday though!

Haha, I wish. I am close to buying a new bike though and this may have shifted the direction I was going. :) Ever since this ride I have been looking at trail/am 29ers and comparing them and trying to figure out what would be best for me...haha.

Definitely sounds like the 29er left an impression. Maybe I'll have to look into that someday

I need to try one of Davincis. Sound pretty cool! Also loved the bridge in the video. Pretty bad ass!

Yeah, I am a lucky man. :)

Before we started down this trail I took out my GoPro and my chesty mount...but somehow the GoPro got turned on in the bag and was full...and I was too lazy to just delete the card, I am kicking myself now as the trails were so much fun and beautiful.
